LISTMINT / CATALOG TOOLS

AGENTS & DEVELOPERS / PUBLIC CAPABILITIES

Help your user get
a Shopify CSV ready.

ListMint is useful when a retailer has a supplier spreadsheet to map, or a Shopify product CSV to check. These public instructions give search assistants and browser agents the same prices, capabilities and limits shown to customers.

Capability catalog (JSON) · Plain-text overview · Worked guides · Fictional sample CSV

Read these documents without an account. They contain no customer data and grant no access to customer accounts or permission to pay.

Choose the correct tool

  • Already in Shopify format: use the free Shopify CSV checker. It checks up to 5 MiB, 20,000 data rows and 250 columns in the browser. No sign-in, file upload or payment. Basic fixes preserve product values.
  • Unfamiliar supplier columns: use supplier preparation. CSV, TSV or semicolon-delimited UTF-8 text, up to 500 KiB, 1,000 rows and 100 columns. Free signed-in preview, then $9 USD for one exact file and mapping.
  • Need product-copy drafting: the separate listing-writing API uses scoped bearer keys and different credits. Its paid packs are disabled. Read runtime availability before attempting a generation.

Supplier preparation: browser workflow

  1. Open supplier preparation. The account owner completes passkey sign-in. A bearer key from the listing-writing API does not authorize supplier operations.
  2. Use a file the user has authorized you to process. Confirm title, retail price, number format and optional fields. Explicitly choose the parent product ID for variants; do not guess groups or prices.
  3. Request the free preview. Review product counts, first five output rows, errors, warnings and excluded columns. Resolve errors before continuing.
  4. If an export credit is needed, confirm the $9 USD price and the user’s payment authority. Checkout opens Stripe; do not pay or use a saved payment method without that authority.
  5. After Stripe confirms payment, download the prepared CSV. The same source, mapping and settings can be downloaded again without another credit while the purchase remains valid. A changed preparation requires another credit. Refunds revoke access.
  6. Return the file for review. It contains draft, unpublished products for a new-product import. ListMint does not access the Shopify store or publish anything.

File handling and operating limits

The free checker runs in browser memory. Supplier preview and export send file contents to ListMint for processing in server memory; contents are not saved or sent to an AI provider. A fingerprint is retained to recognize paid re-downloads, along with purchase records. Mapping templates are device-local.

Supplier preparation currently has no external bearer-key API or MCP endpoint. A browser agent still needs the user’s sign-in and any required payment approval. This documentation does not make the paid workflow fully unattended.

Neither tool opens Excel workbooks, verifies product claims or guarantees a Shopify import. Save XLSX as CSV UTF-8 first. Preparation does not handle inventory, shipping, taxes, metafields, bundles or existing-product updates.

Existing REST API: listing-writing only

OpenAPI specification and integration instructions describe the separate listing-writing API. Those endpoints do not prepare supplier CSVs and their credits are not interchangeable. The public plans endpoint reports whether generation and checkout are available.

These reads need no credentials and do not charge anything. Store API keys privately and send them only to ListMint in the Authorization header, never in a URL or to Stripe.
