Use a parent ID that means one product
Keep the same parent ID for variants of a single product. A supplier’s department or collection code may cover many products and is unsuitable as a variant group. In ListMint, parent grouping must be selected explicitly.
Rows within a group must agree on shared product facts. If two rows disagree about the title, brand or description, review whether they belong together. The tool reports conflicts instead of silently choosing one.
Store actual sizes, not assumptions
Names such as Double, Queen and King do not establish a measurement on their own. Use dimensions and units confirmed by the supplier, and check the intended market. The example below is fictional; its measurements are not a size standard.
The checker’s optional bedding review flags named sizes without recognizable dimensions. It does not confirm that measurements are correct, convert a mattress size into a duvet size or infer what is included in a set.
Give every sellable combination a distinct row
Within each product, the size/color combination must be distinct. Two rows with the same parent, size and color need review. They may be duplicates, or they may differ in a fact such as pack quantity that your mapping does not represent.
This version supports size and color options. It does not prepare bundles or a third option such as pack quantity. Do not discard that distinction to make the file pass. Keep leading zeros in SKUs and barcodes.
Keep the description precise
Distinguish a cover from a filled cushion, and a single duvet cover from a bedding set. Product facts must come from your source: ListMint does not invent fabric composition, care instructions, certifications or set contents.
Descriptions are handled as plain text and escaped for output. One image URL per variant row can be mapped, but ListMint does not fetch the image or verify that it shows the correct item.
Test the fictional example, then your own file
Download the sample supplier CSV below or choose “Try a supplier sample” in supplier preparation. Map Product name, Item code, Retail price, Brand, Parent ID, Size, Colour and Description using the field-mapping guide. The free preview should show two products and three variants.
Only move on to your real file after reviewing the mapping. Preparation costs $9 USD per exact file and settings, with free re-downloads while the purchase remains valid. Your export contains new draft, unpublished products for an import you review yourself.
